Please explain the purpose of operation:
The operation includes emergency communications in Haiti in connection with recent natural disasters. The satellite planned to be used is XTAR LANT (30W). The includes a 4.8m hub in Houston and 1.2m portable VSAT units in upstate NY. Eventually the portable units will be shipped to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
