Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Qualcomm will install two MediaFLO transmitters for demonstration purposes at Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO. Qualcomm is currently operating commercial service in the area (call sign WPZA239) but this STA is necessary to add the temporary transmitters. No local TV stations are using the spectrum.

Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Qualcomm will temporarily deploy the transmitters at the Colorado Convention center and at a 2nd site to enhance commercial MediaFLO coverage in support of demonstrations. The attached interference report shows that no TV stations are operation on channel 55 in the area and there is no interference caused to any TV stations.
