Qualcomm will be showing a demonstration of UMTS cellular technology operating in the IMT-2000 band. These frequencies are not allocated to wireless technology in the US. Qualcomm will be demonstrating UMTS technology using the Qualcomm chipset techonology during the financial analyst meeting in the Essex House in New York City on 5/22/03. The demonstration will operate at low power levels for limited durations through the course of the meeting.
