Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Qualcomm will install a low power (maximum of 25W ERP) MediaFLO transmitter for short term demonstration purposes at the 2008 US Open in San Diego. Qualcomm is currently operating commercial service in the area (call sign WPWU989) but this STA is necessary to add the temporary transmitter. No local TV stations are using the spectrum.
