Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA will be used to provide the communication for a brief space-launch system test, however it will cease operation prior to the transmitter reaching orbit. This STA will be used to provide inter-device communication during ascent on-board a space launch vehicle. The communicating devices are housed adjacent to each other in an RF-shielded container to minimize leakage of transmissions. The transmissions will cease prior to the vehicle reaching orbit and will not be restarted.
