This equipment permits us to create stand-alone private GSM networks in remote global locales where poaching is a significant threat to big cat populations. The GSM900 network will enable specially deigned camera traps to transmit images of poachers detected in protected areas in real time, thus allowing for rapid law enforcement response. Prior to deploying this equipment in the field, we need to test it in the US to understand its limitations and functionality.
