Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
This piece of equipment will enable the creation of stand alone GSM networks in remote global locales where poaching is a significant threat to big cat populations. These stand alone networks will enable specially designed camera traps to transmit images of poachers detected in protected areas in real time, thus allowing for rapid law enforcement response. Prior to deploying this equipment in the field, we need to test it in the US to determine its limitations and functionality.
