Special Temporary Authority application - Initial values - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Experiments will be conducted to test and demonstrate the concept of deployable WNW and SRW network architecture. The experiments will utilize a Northrop Grumman test and demonstration network that resembles an anticipated architecture of Department of Defense networks used for Command and Control (C2) operations. Requirement is for one frequency between 225-400 MHz for 1.2 MHz bandwidth; two frequencies between 400-450 MHz for 3.0 MHz maximum bandwidth; and one frequency between 450-2000 MHz for 30. MHz maximum bandwidth. Frequencies have been chosen that are believed available for this purpose, but there is complete flexibility within each of the three ranges.
