Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Northrop Grumman aircraft under contract with CAL FIRE to employ real-time optical sensor package for surveillance, fire perimeter updates, fire and airmass behavior analysis and reporting to CAL FIRE and U.S. Forestry Service. Highj definition imagery also will be used to do damage assessment, burned area analysis, and vegetative health indices.
