Please explain the purpose of operation:
Evaluation and testing of an active phased array radar system that has been developed by CEA Technologies of Australia, a partner of Northrop Grumman. This radar will not be for sale in the United States nor will it be sold to any branch of the United States Military. Northrop Grumman respectfully requests processing of this STA and for the Commission to grant this STA on or about August 1, 2011 for a period of approximately 5 months, ending December 24, 2011.
