Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is required to permit performance of final testing of a satellite earth station under U.S. Navy Contract No. N00019-08-C-0023, rating D0-A1. This earth station will communicate with USGOV satellites in 7.9-8.4 & 30.0 - 31.0 GHz military X and Ka bands. Testing has required a longer period than initially projected, requiring this additional application.
