Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This project is required to show compliance to FAA 14 CFR 91.21 IAW FAA AC 91.21-1d. This project will show that the aircraft model and avionics radio equipment is in compliance with Electro-Magnetic Interference standards. This will require transmission of RF Signals and showing the aircraft is not affected.

Compliance showing is required as the CODID-19 Vaccines shipments are to be tracked with Active RFID tags. While the RFID Tags are FCC Approved (FCC ID: SDKUX-ID2), approval for carriage on aircraft requires a showing of compliance to FAA Rulemaking. The testing listed in item 4 provides the basis for FAA Approval.
