Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is needed to perform a small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) demonstration to provide a capabilities and safety demonstation to help educate policy makers to assist in the discussion of sUAS in the national airspace system (NAS). This conference on UAS center on FAA approval for UAS flight in the National Airspace System and includes national security, law enforment, first responders, and other government and civil requirements for UAS use. The participants in the conference enclude DOD, DHS, NASA, DOJ, DOI, and other government entities, manufacturers and the FAA.
