Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is necessary to allow the Upland station to attempt contact with the CTC-1 spacecraft. The existing STA is 0182-EX-ST-2026; it expires July 31, 2026. There has been no operation under that STA due to delays in equipment commissioning. The first attempt at contact will be around July 15, 2026. So we are requesting an STA for another 6 months, to allow checkout of the CTC-1 spacecraft.
