Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety is requesting to test a UHF frequency 452.575 and 456.575 MHz in Valencia County of New Mexico. We were unable to add a vhf frequency to our existing use frequency in this area. The vhf frequencies are not readily available in this area because of all the adjacent county and city use. The Navajo Nation provide police services in this area for its Navajo people.
