Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is necessary to authorize continued radio transmission of data from the ALTAIR design demonstration satellite for the period May 16, 2018, to November 15, 2018. This will allow continued experimentation until the spacecraft is close to deorbiting, which has been delayed by favorably low solar winds.
