Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Metrom Rail, LLC has been invited to participate in a Proof of Concept for Metropolitan Transportation Associate (MTA)for their AURA System. A core technology of the AURA System is Ultra-Wideband (UWB). Current Commissions rules in Subpart F prohibit the use of antennas mounted on outdoor structures or any fixed outdoor infrastructure. Metrom Rail, LLC is requesting temporary authority to mount the UWB technology along the wayside of specified rail transit lines.
