Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant requests STA to participate in a rehearsal event for the Aerial Dragnet Phase 2 Final Demonstration, conducted in San Diego, CA. The subject operations are intended for very short duration in and around the San Diego area. This rehearsal event will include the testing of static and UAS-deployed sensors in an Area of Regard (AOR) that covers a 20 square kilometers in San Diego.

As part of its sensor package, Applicant will deploy multiple C-Band radars operating at 5.2-5.8 GHz using a custom NLFM waveform with 30 MHz bandwidth with 50 MHz channel separation centered at frequencies within the 5.2-5.8 GHz band. Operations will be conducted at an altitude not to exceed 150m.
