Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Demonstrating a digital command and control system that transfers information on the move so that commanders can control and monitor the status and position of their subordinate units. Our plan is to demonstrate a digital command and control system that transfers information on the move, near real time, situational awareness to provide commanders the ability to digitally control and monitor their subordinate units status and position. We will establish a network between a ground force commander (G1) and two subordinate units: a dismounted Special Force Unit (G2) and an Air Support Unit (A1). G1 should be able to receive messages from G2 and A2 regarding their situations (terrain picture, coordinates). The Commander (G1) has a laptop to provide a visualization, and still-pictures from G2 and A1. We then want to have another aircraft (A2) join in the network and provide information to A1, G1 and G2. In the sketch below, sea Exhibit I, the fixed Ground positions G1, and G2 are shown along with the moving air positions A1 and A2.
