Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The P-Star program delivers compact mobile radar systems. These portable radar platforms transmit while in a fixed position. Engineering testing and demonstrations of a P-Star radar platform with an integrated EADS interrogator transmitter is needed for marketing purposes to a Swiss customer. If results of the experiment are favorable, this could result in a foreign commercial contract with the Swiss Federal Department of Defence Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS).
