Operation of the experiment will be performed for a few one-week test events during the proposed 6 month STA window of 1 April to 1 October, 2010. This STA is being requested to support a USAF contract FA8217-09-C-0018, investigation of strategies to mitigate the impact of co-frequency Radio Navigation Satellite Signals; on the operation of TPS77 radar signal.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
The proposed TPS-77 radar and mobile test signals, operating while in fixed positions, are requested to support a USAF contract FA8217-09-C-0018. The proposed TPS-77 radar and mobile test signals, operating while in fixed positions, are requested to support a USAF contract FA8217-09-C-0018, investigation of strategies to mitigate the impact of co-frequency Radio Navigation Satellite Signals; on the operation of TPS77 radar signal. Peak power and ERP requested are for short term approximately 30 min calibration tests. The PEP will be reduced to -100dbW, and ERP will be reduced to less than .01mW for 24 hour data recording events.
