Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application is for the testing of a Wirefree Communication System (WIFCOM) being supplied as a subcomponent of an Integrated Communications System (ICS) to the Royal Navy for use on their new Astute Class Submarine. This STA is necessary to allow for integration testing of the UHF radios within this system. Testing is to include initial system integration testing and follow on qualification testing (shock, vibration, EMI, etc). All radio equipment is previously FCC type approved.
