Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We will be conducting indoor and outdoor measurements to develop algorithms and processes to locate object in the field of view of the radio based on the received channel impulse response signal. Signals will only be transmitted during actual experiments (Estimate less than 10 minutes per hour over an 8-hour period on less than 10 days per month). To the maximum extent possible we will reduce our transmissions and any type of possible interference.

Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
We would like to conduct RF channel sensing measurements in an indoor and outdoor environment using commercially available OpenRAN radio units (ORU). The tests will be performed at low powers and for limited duration in the 3.35 to 3.55 GHz and 3.7 to 3.9 GHz bands. We will use the OpenRAN radios to collect data and conduct analysis on the data. We would accept any modifications to the bands requested that would provide us with 100MHz of bandwidth. Stop buzzer POC is Michael Millhaem at 707-324-9744.
