Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:

Judd Strategic Technologies (JST) is going to demonstrate a signal collection, direction finding, and RF geolocation technology. For the period of one week, emitters will emit signals for the technology to collect and geolocate. For the purpose of demonstrating that the technology is broadband and capable of geolocating signals across a very wide signal band, some of the emitted signals will need to be in the communications band.
