This STA is needed for ship testing that will last for 8-9 months. (NOTE: Original application #0578-EX-ST-2000 was for 6 months. Changes in the scope of the overhaul contract have extended the schedule beyond the original 6-month duration and anSTA extension was granted on STA #0239-EX-ST-2001. Scope changes in the overhaul effort have impacted the scheduled period of transmission and this STA is submitted to further extend the duration of the authorization to transmit.)
