Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose of this operation is to validate the RF link budget of a drone-mounted AM/FM broadcast transmitter payload developed under U.S. Navy contract. Specifically, to verify adequate received signal strength at a ground receiver located up to 1 mile from the transmitter operating at approximately 400 feet AGL, on frequencies 1000 kHz (AM) and 100.0 MHz (FM) at transmit powers of approximately 36mW and 16mW respectively.
