Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We are waiting on a modification to our current FCC experimental license, which includes the addition of Anchorage AK. However, it is taking longer than anticipated and we would like to do some testing in Anchorage in the near future. We would like authorization to operate wherever we can within a 160 km radius of Anchorage. We will gladly abide by any geographic restrictions desired by the FAA to avoid potential conflict with the ASDE-3 system.
