Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
HTC plans to set up a Stand-alone (SA) 5G Private 5G demo at Lumen Field in Seattle to support the event hosted by Lumen to show case the HTC 5G and Lumen Edge node delivery of Virtual Reality (VR) solution to T-Mobile and UPS. HTC would like to utilize FCC STA experimental licensing for n78 before developing operator specific Radio Unit (RU) based on the interests from Lumen and T-Mobile.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Stand-alone (SA) 5G Private 5G is used to show case HTC 5G cloud Edge based Virtual Reality (VR) solution to T-Mobile and UPS. The HTC private 5G ORAN platform (RU, DU/CU, and 5GC) coupled with HTC Focus 3 HMD and HTC edge server running NVidia CloudXR rendering software will be used to demonstrated HTC unique algorithm to support high number of concurrent VR streams over extended range with special handover handling among different RUs without overhead and frame drop as would if standard based HO procedure is used.
