Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Honeywell participates in the RTCA Special Committee 202, chartered to report on the intereference of passenger devices (PEDs) with aircraft systems. Honeywell is evaluating the feasibility of the use of PCS and cellular devices while in flight and the potential effects of transmissions with Airborne systems and ground network infrastructure. The test program is planned to take place between August 2nd and August 6th, 2004.
