Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Harris Corporation (Harris) hereby requests an additional six month extension of the STA previously authorized under FCC File No. 0133-EX-ST-2014 to continue critical testing. Harris currently has a pending permanent experimental license request (File No. 0140-EX-PL-2014) for the operations authorized under this STA. However, owing to unexpected delays in the coordination process/NGT number assignment with the FAA Regional Frequency Management Office, an extension is necessary. Harris expects the FAA coordination to be completed within an additional six month term, thus allowing the permanent experimental license request under File No. 0140-EX-PL-2014 to be processed by the Commission.
