Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
To facilitate their efforts to serve the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) critical communications market detailed below in section 5, Harris Corporation (Harris) holds Experimental License WC2XZK covering operations in most of the Land Mobile frequency bands where Harris provides equipment or intends to provide equipment. Currently this license is for operations at various locations in Massachusetts, New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Harris respectfully requests the Commission grant Special Temporary Authorization to permit demonstration and evaluation of their radio equipment in the frequency bands and at the location designated in the application.
