Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
EMG USA requests that the Commission grant temporary authority to operate on one 20 MHz wide channel centered at 2250 MHz and one 20 MHz wide channel centered at 3350 MHz on August 20, 2026 with intermittent usage. Please note EMG is fully capable of working 2200-2300MHz and 3300- 3400MHz. EMG can work within these parameters and if needed can move and adjust. As explained below, EMG USA is filing an STA request for the Live Television Transmission CBS Sport’s coverage of a NFL preseason game. EMG USA submits that there are extraordinary circumstances warranting a grant of the STA request. CBS Sports has contracted EMG USA to provide the necessary microwave for the Live Transmission of this event. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in Los Angeles, CA, coupled with the added congestion from traditional television and news coverage of these special events, EMG USA requests the use of channels in the 2240 - 2260 MHz and 3340-3360MHz telemetry band. EMG USA certifies that the operation of the requested channels for the purposes specified herein will not cause interference to any established stations.

The proposed service would enhance coverage of the event by providing on the spot pictures from mobile locations that would not otherwise be available to the Production Company.
