Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Special Temporary Authority is requested to support a time-sensitive, temporary deployment and evaluation of a Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) at the Santa Clara County Sheriff Academy in Morgan Hill, California. Operations are scheduled to begin August 18, 2026, and will be conducted for a limited 30-day evaluation period. The requested temporary authority is necessary to permit operation of the system during the planned test and evaluation period.
