Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
I am requesting an authorization to transmit using the LoRa modulation scheme (a form of Chirp Spread Spectrum) at up to 50W PEP on the 70cm amateur radio band. An STA is being requested because spread spectrum transmissions is normally limited to 10W PEP for radio amateurs on that band.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose of this STA is to facilitate Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLoS) experiments using the LoRa modulation scheme. BLoS propagation methods for frequency bands such as 70cm involve methods such as troposcatter that require large link budgets and thus relatively high power transmissions.
