Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We are developing a Software Defined Radio for the Government and need to conduct demo/testing to validate the datalink performance. An STA is required to allow us to obtain approvals to operate radios in L and S bands for the demonstration. Planned operations include air-air, ground-ground, air-ground demo/testing in Red Springs, North Carolina, at a USSOCOM Government sponsored exercise.
