Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
CBRS Field Trials. The experimental CBSD device in question will be in full communication and compliance with a SAS. The experimental CBSD device in question will be registering with the CommScope SAS as a Category B CBSD, to avoid causing interference to incumbent and commercial operations in the band, including General Authorized Access (GAA). The CBSD device in question is a prototype version of an upcoming Category B offering which will fully comply and be certified under FCC Part 96 CBRS rules. The request for experimental license is to conduct field tests prior to completing FCC certification.
