Participation in USSOCOM RFI TE 19-3 Technical Experimentation from 15-19 July 2019 at Texas A&M University Rellis Campus, TX to explore emerging technology solutions. Per part 7 of the RFI, if my experiment will be radiating on a given frequency or band, I must have prior approval from FCC.

Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:
LoRa (902-928MHz) communication will be used to provide GPS, health, and other data between soldiers wearing small microcontrollers and a monitoring station. Distances for this experiment will be limited to 1Km - 2Km maximum. Wearable communication devices, the HelTec ESP32 LoRa v2, use LoRa to communicate. LoRa hub connected to monitoring station (laptop) will receive data from wearables. Exercise will be at: Lat: 30-38-40.3N Lon:096-28-21.8W Texas A&M University ELLIS College Station, Tx BRAZOS County
