Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A large volume of microwave communications are necessary for operational and video production purposes during this second Formula One Automobile Race at the Circuit of the Americas race venue in Austin, Texas. During the qualifying events and the race itself, large numbers of race teams from Europe and other parts of the world will be bringing their equipment to the race track for video production and for operational communications. Sufficient frequencies for this purpose cannot be obtained through the Commissions licensing process, though the applicant, the race track owner, is a licensee of the Commission in the LP Auxiliary, LTTS and Land Mobile Radio Services. As explained in the attached narrative, this STA application is virtually identical to two STAs granted in November of 2012 and a single STA granted in November of 2013 for this same event.
