Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Purpose of operation is to evaluate novel low power wavefoms for satellite communications. The planned experiment will utilize a 1.8m ground based antenna which is fed by moderate (< 100 MHz) bandwidth phase modulated waveforms of 100 mW peak power. A total of 10 experiments spread across 6 months is planned, with each experiment lasting up to 15 minutes in duration.
