Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Centauri is the prime contractor for a DARPA program which will perform an airborne synthetic aperture radar test collection near the Willow Run airport in Ypsilanti, MI. The two airborne radars already have separate frequency authorizations in-hand. This STA application is for a ground-based, low-power RF transmitter. Functionally, it will receive the signal from the airborne radar and re-transmit a low-power signal back to the airborne radar.
