Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant is a television program producer, audio equipment and communications equipment rental company which provides audio and communications for broadcast events, satellite broadcast events, and cablecast events. Applicant is authorized with additional BAS licenses to accomplish such events. However due to the increased spectral demands of large scale events and the limited BAS spectrum available, well coordinated temporary use of spectrum is needed. On camera wireless microphones and communications need sufficient spectrum in conjunction with elevated amounts of normal ENG and BAS within a single venue.
