Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation

Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Ten video channels of at least 8 MHz necessary bandwidth below 3 GHz are required for video production of the air race known as the Red Bull Air Races in San Francisco, California during the period October 5-9, 2005. Applicant is a video production company which holds various LTTS, BAS and private wireless licenses, which normally are used in addition to those used by STA and coordinated with AFTRCC, the Aeronautical Flight Test Telecommunications Council. However, in this case, the BAS/LTTS channels between 1990 and 2110 MHz, Channels A1 through A7, are unavailable according to the Northern California Frequency Coordination Committee (associated with the Society of Broadcast Engineers) due to an NFL football game in San Francisco that same weekend, and other normal BAS use of those channels by broadcast licensees for electronic news gathering and other purposes. The requested channels are needed on a one-time, temporary basis for video production of the air show for broadcast, satellite broadcast and cablecast. All channels allocated to Aeronautical Flight Test Telemetry are coordinated with AFTRCC through Boeing, its frequency coordinator, and all Amateur allocations are coordinated with ARRL, the National Association for Amateur Radio, which will handle any and all local notifications.
