Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Additional channels are needed for video production for the Indianapolis 500 automobile race at Indianapolis, IN and for video production in advance of that motorsports event. The applicant, Broadcast Sports, Inc. is an LTTS licensee, but there is a severe shortfall in frequencies available for video transmission from inside race cars to helicopters above the race track and then down to satellite production trucks for satellite feeds for broadcast and cable networks.
