Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation

Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant is a video production company which provides video for broadcast, satellite broadcast and cablecast of sporting and other events. Applicant has certain LTTS, BAS and private wireless licenses for this purpose. However, the spectrum demands in this major city, and the limited LTTS/BAS spectrum for this events makes it necessary to make coordinated, temporary use of additional channels in the vicinity of 2 GHz and in the television UHF band. Such is necessary to have sufficient video relay from RF cameras at numerous locations along the triathlon route. Applicant has coordinated all 1.4 and 2.3 GHz spectrum requested herein with AFTRCC, which coordinates flight test telemetry operations on the subject channels. As well, the UHF channel will be coodinated with local SEB coordinator. See exhibit.
