Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Broadcast Sports, Incorporated is a video production company, and is a licensee in the Local Television Transmission Service (LTTS). LTTS microwave channels used for video production in the 2 GHz range are shared with Broadcast Auxiliary Service (BAS) licensees. The local frequency coordinator in the Houston, Texas television market has informed Broadcast Sports, Inc. that no BAS/LTTS channels around 2 GHz are available for video production during this event. Broadcast Sports, Inc. requires several channels for video production, because separate 2 GHz transmitters are used in the cars, which transmit video to a helicopter and then relayed to a production truck for satellite uplink. Because normal LTTS channels are unavailable for this event, substitute channels are needed by STA. The substitute channels sought are available to ITFS licensees and are proposed to be used following advance coordination with local licensees.
