Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The applicant is a video production company which furnishes video and audio programming at sporting events, most espeically automobile racing events and golf tournaments. The applicant holds a number of LTTS and broadcast auxiliary licenses, but the channels available for short range video transmission are shared with broadcast (BAS) and cablecast (CARS) licensees. Additional video production channels are necessary in certain markets in order to permit the preparation of video and audio for broadcast, satellite delivery and cablecast to viewers.
