Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of UHF frequencies as well as 1473 and 1483 MHz (AFTRCC coordination has been obtained for use of these frequencies) and 10.6 GHz. The purpose of this request is to provide logistical support and video coverage of the Miami F1 Fan Festival (A demonstration of Formula 1 Auto Racing). The event will be held in the area of Bayfront Park 301 Biscayne Boulevard Miami, FL. The period of operation including setup and testing will be October 17 through October 20, 2018. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events. The number of frequencies and units requested is considered what is required for an event of this size.
