Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to add some additional frequencies to STA file number 1121-EX-ST-2021 (Call Sign: WS9XLE). Since the previous application was filed some addition needs have been identified. The purpose of the STA as previously stated is for providing coverage and logistics support for the US Open Tennis Tournament and related activities for the period of August 24, 2021 through September 12, 2021 (including setup and take down) . This event will be held at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing, NY. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events. The number of frequencies requested is due to the size of the event and to allow for reasonable access to the shared spectrum that will likely have other users.
