Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of several UHF frequencies and two 3-GHz frequencies for the purpose of providing logistical support for a large Porsche auto event taking place in the area surrounding the three listed venues in the Palm Springs, CA area between January 6, 2019 and February 8, 2019. The number of requested frequencies is required as this event covers a number of activities at three different venues and their surrounding area. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events.
