Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of a number of UHF frequencies and two 2 GHz frequencies (indoor use only) to provide logistical and production support for a program related to a German Sociology Study between October 5 and December 3, 2016 in the Miami, FL area. The number of frequencies and units requested is necessary to allow for the fact that the spectrum is shared with other users therefore not always available. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events.
